The new imageRUNNER 2200/2800/3300 Digital Multifunction Workgroup Solution from Canon delivers new generation capabilities designed to meet every need, application and budget of small to medium-sized enterprises. The imageRUNNER 2200/2800/3300 ships as a standalone digital copier, supporting many advanced copying features, as well as the local scanning of documents into an internal image server Mailbox system. As a truly modular system, customers can easily add network printing, Super G3 Fax capabilities, and network scanning if and when they dictate.

Offering Scan-Once-Print-Many technology, standard Automatic Trayless Duplexing, a large 4,550 sheet maximum paper capacity, 2400 x 600 dpi interpolated printing resolution, and the most extensive finishing capabilities in its class, the imageRUNNER 2200/2800/3300 truly stands apart from competitive offerings in its class.

Like its Canon predecessors, the imageRUNNER 2200/2800/3300 leverages Canon's unsurpassed networking and multifunction capabilities, offering customers powerful copying, printing, faxing and scanning functions that outperform most standalone devices on the market today.

With a print controller capable of handling 10/100 Ethernet or Token Ring connections, and PostScript®; 3 Emulation and PCL® 6 print languages, the imageRUNNER 2200/2800/3300 meets the needs of even the most demanding production environments.

The imageRUNNER 2200/2800/3300 is a powerhouse of productivity delivering both copies and prints at 22 impressions per minute, rated at 75,000 impressions per month. With Canon's patented RAPID Fusing™ system, long warm-up periods typically associated which conventional solutions are reduced to mere seconds on the imageRUNNER 2200/2800/3300. RAPID Fusing technology also contributes to greatly reduced energy usage and consumption costs. In addition, a compact engine design makes the imageRUNNER 2200/2800/3300 a perfect fit even in environments with limited space.

An optional 50-sheet Duplexing Automatic Document Feeder-H1 accepts double-sided originals in sizes up to 11"x 17" and even can handle different sized leading edges with ease. A large 4,550-sheet maximum paper supply minimizes paper re-loading chores for maximum productivity. In addition, an Envelope Feeder Attachment-B1 is available for high volume envelope printing environments.

On the output side, the imageRUNNER 2200/2800/3300 offers finishing capabilities previously available only through outsourcing or when documents are sent to a Central Reproduction Department. The imageRUNNER 2200/2800/3300 offers multiple output options from simple sorting and collating to advanced multi-position stapling, saddle-stitching, V-folding and 2- or -3 hole punched output.

The imageRUNNER 2200/2800/3300's Internal Image Server hosts a number of unique features including Scan-Once-Print-Many, Confidential Mail Boxes, Automatic Page Impositioning, Copy Reservation, and Job Build. All machine functions can be easily accessed through Canon's intuitive printer driver interface and a large Touchscreen LCD panel at the device.
